Winds of Wisdom

Whispers fill the silence,
Slowly, as I pray.
My knowledge is not lacking
On this Sabbath day.

And then I think His comfort is constrained
Until I hear the voices; I’ve waited this whole day…

To know these winds of wisdom
Can find me anywhere
That’s holy and so peaceful;
Inside my fervent prayer.
“Oh, Lord, if you could grant
One wish to me down on my knees:
To ever have your comfort,
Your love, my Savior, please.”

Whispers fight the loudness
As I live this war.
If only I could know the way
Like I did before.

I know that the Comforter can only stay with me
If I stand in holy places, His blessings receive…

And to know these winds of wisdom
Can find me anywhere
That’s holy and so peaceful,
Inside a fervent prayer.
“Oh, Lord if you could grant
One wish, inside this breeze:
To ever have your wisdom,
Your hope, my Savior, please.”

Blinding paths are planned for
As you work your way
Through this life and trials,
His faith with you each day.

No armor ever needed
This way I’ve known for long
Through prophecies and promises
Proclaimed through every song

Know these winds of wisdom
Can find you anywhere
That’s holy and so peaceful.
Just like fervent prayer.
“Dear Lord, forever grant me
One wish, throughout my years
To be next to you,
Know the things you do
Are right and true,
Through winds of wisdom.”

Praise my Redeemer–He has saved my life;
despite my sins, His efforts weren’t in vain.
Amid the storms of suffering and strife,
the Lord, for all, has shown His love again.

“Forsake the world and I will be thy God.
Trust in my words and I’ll with thee abide;
And thou, poor servant, through the fields have plod,
did know which friend was always by thy side.”

Oh, Saints, live in a way to please the Lord
and you will find, within your heart, true peace.
Guide us, dear Christ–the Way, the Truth, the Word–
ruled once as king, thy reign will never cease.

For all the blessings He gives me, I’ll say,
“I love thee, Lord, forever and today!”
