Our Mom

A mom is someone who cooks and cleans,
who does the laundry and stitches the seams
but our mom’s more special for numerous reasons,
she always loves us through each of the seasons,
she gives us so much and we should be grateful
and though not always said we’re eternally grateful
for being there for us through all of our trials
we appreciate your support through all of the miles.

A woman who stays up ’til all of us are home
is a mom who deserves to receive such a poem.
You come to our baseball and the countless track meets
and always stand beside us through all of our defeats.
Mom we love you dearly and hope you can see
you are so special to me (James) and me (Jennifer) and me (Dallas)!
