Sonnet of Unclear Explanations
I hope you realize that I only
Care more about each foe you discover
Daily, because your eyes tell me truly
What your sweet lips stutter, silent lover.
I want you to know that I am frightened.
I don’t admit things easily, but you
Should know I imply more than I intend.
This must be confusing, but please be true
To your instincts and values. I ever
Watch out for you, even though I’m not your
Mother, just another girl who’ll never
Mean to find faults in the guy I adore.
Promise me you’ll remember every kiss
And know that you’re the one I’ll always miss.
