That's Where it Ends

by Jordan Green

All alone in my room,
I can’t think of anything but you.
And when I close my eyes
I can’t help but fall in love again.

So I try to remember that you’re not for me
And I recall the past and see nothing but grief.
Then I look in your eyes and forget it all over again.
That’s where it ends.

Days so long ago
When I thought you loved me; my life was aglow.
But now, all of that’s gone.
All I have are memories here on my own.

As I try to remember that you’re not for me
And I recall the past and see nothing but grief.
Then I look in your eyes and forget it all over again.
That’s where it ends.

It wasn’t good,
It wasn’t bad,
It was like anything I’ve had.
Now that you’re gone,
I just don’t know
How I could live without you.

As I try to remember that you’re not for me
And I recall the past and see nothing but grief.
Then I look in your eyes and forget it all over again.
That’s where it ends.

That’s where it ends.
